Having returned to England in May 2003 I was very keen to return to many of the countries I had been so fortunate to visit during the round the world trip. When my friend delighted in telling me she was to be wed in April 2004 I had no hesitation in accepting her invitation and immediately booked my flight, enthralled by the thought of returning to South Africa...
Six months have now passed since I made the decision to return to Africa and in just three days time I will be boarding the aircraft for possibly the longest flight of my life. I am unbelievably excited by my impending trip and am pleased that I am feeling just as thrilled about this journey as I was about the first.
The plan this time is very simple. I have booked a return flight from London to Cape Town, two days after I arrive I will be attending my friends wedding in Stellenbosch, then I will go wherever and partake in whatever appeals at the time.
